I truly enjoy problem-solving and coming up with a creative flow in my design pieces that help lead the viewers eye in the direction that creates the most impact from my work and delivers the message the client wants to convey.

This is one example:

Three years ago I created the Listener Guide for KFOK Community Radio 95.1 www.kfok.org

and I continue to be the layout and graphic designer for that publication.

As a result of the FCC's assignment of a somewhat unfortunate set of call-letters, for years KFOK has been trying to come up with a visual concept that would encourage its listeners to refer to the station by ALL of its call-letters consecutively, rather than by the nickname of "K-fok."

I have used several strategic designs that would lead the eye to read each of the letters separately. A few issues ago I came up with the concept of placing "bullets" between each of the call-letters. For the next issue I also italicized the "OK"

My most recent idea appeared on the front page of the last issue (below), where I placed a gradient behind the letters, concentrating it on the italicized "OK"
